When I found about the collab, I first decided to make my own solo game, it was only going to be a point and click game. I soon realised that it was both hard to make and probably wasn't going to be very good in the end. I then decided to look for a coder. Not long after I started the search, DreamworX stood up to the challenge. I send DW some basic character art and he started making a game engine.
From then onwards, we developed the game more and more, adding new features and enemies. I continued to feed the game with art and DW continued coding it. Towards the end of production, we decide to call the game, 'Dark Depths', we thought it was a fitting name for a platform game. On Wednesday night (the deadline night) it was seriously mad, me and DW were up until about 3-4am(GMT) and I think DW had school in the morning xD. I remember talking to Coolio in the final minutes before 9pm(EST). I was literally giving him a one minute countdown and he managed to submit it just on the dot! Unfortunately, it went through to the next day and got massively downvoted, but we still won an award so i'm happy :D. So, yeah go and check out the collab, everyone put an insane amount of effort into it!
