Heh, Pixel Tool. Seems pretty fun. I used the Pixel Tool for a while but it suddenly glitched out and lagged my Flash so I had to delete it. I hope that doesn't happen to you.
I can send you a beta copy soon if you want, the achievements may not work 100% but the game will be fine :D
And yeah, I love the pixel tool, the only thing I've found with it is that sometimes you get tiny slivers of stuff from in between blocks appearing, which annoys me.

I'm no expert. But my guess is that the "pinch point" is just that small gap in between where the lock ends, and the border begins.
The way that there is so little space in between, gives a feeling of being "pinched," or rather, squashed in there.
